Vacancy: Social Media & Content Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the club’s media team. This role is ideal for students currently undertaking a sports media, journalism or design course or similar, at either college or university level.

Responsible to: Head of Media

Job summary:

You will help manage the club’s media communications, producing engaging social content, under the direction of the Head of Media.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce match reports for home and away fixtures
• Assist the launch of the club’s TikTok channel by producing engaging video content, with kit provided
• Produce written content for the club website, including but not limited to match previews, statements and player signings
• Assisting the management of the club website

The ideal candidate will have a passion for football, strong verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of social media and it’s benefits to a non-league football club. Previous experience in football is desirable, but not essential and this is an entry-level position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape this role into their own at the club.

As a club of our level, we are unable to offer a salary for this position currently, but this opportunity offers valuable experience to progress into a full-time role in the future.

Travel to away fixtures will be arranged where possible and Baffins clothing will be provided.
