Alpay Ali, Tom Vincent and Kelvin Robinson are on target as Rovers secure back-to-back league victories.

Baffins extended their winning run across all competitions to three with victory at Alresford Town.

The match at Alrebury Park was Rovers’ first away trip of the campaign and the visitors were on the front foot during the contest from the first whistle and took the lead after 17 minutes.

Brad Gale and Zac Brownlie played a neat one-two inside the area and the former picked out Alpay Ali in the box and the forward smashed his effort into the roof of the net.

It took Baffins just nine minutes to double their lead as Rob Evans’ well-placed lobbed pass was picked up by Tom Vincent who nonchalantly chipped goalkeeper Callum Smart.

Shortly before the break, Vincent - who is now the club’s top scorer this campaign - had the ball in the back of the net once more, but the linesman adjudged the striker to be in an offside position.

Just minutes after the restart, Rovers could’ve had a third as Charlie Oakwell saw his header hit the post from close range following an Evans cross.

Kelvin Robinson emerged from the bench during the second interval and bagged his first goal of the campaign, receiving the ball from Brownlie and rifling the ball past Smart.

Baffins: Hardcastle, Evans (Sims 72), Francis, Gale, Kennedy, Saidy, Brownlie (Paige 68), Oakwell (Wellham 72), Parish (Everett 68), Vincent, Ali (Robinson 63).
