Opening-night nightmare for Rovers
Danny Thompson handed nine debuts as he named his starting eleven for his first competitive game in charge of the club.
And his new-look Rovers side got off to the worst possible start when Jack Francis could only watch helplessly as the ball deflected off him into net to give Hamble Club an opener.
Rovers had their first sight of goal after 32 minutes as summer signing Ousman Saidy's volley was deflected wide of the away side's goal.
Seven minutes before the break the hosts had a second goal as Alfie Prendercast found the target from the edge of the area, beating Dylan Kramer.

It didn't take long for Baffins to work an opportunity in the second half as Francis found Alpay Ali but the striker's effort could only find the side netting.
Moments later, Hamble extended their lead as Prendercast found the target again. That sparked a wave of changes from Thomspon with Owen Scammell, Dillon North, Ed Sanders and Joe Johnson all introduced.
Sanders was called into action ten minutes from the end of the encounter as he was in the right place at the right time to clear an effort off the line.
